Carrie Chapman Catt and Mary Garrett (Molly) Hay were both active in the Women's Suffrage movement

Carrie served as president of the National American Women's Suffrage Association, and was the

founder of the Leaque of Women Voters. She and her life partner Molly worked as a team;

they were instrumental in obtaining legislation for the women's right to vote.

Carrie Chapman Catt and Molly Hay are buried together at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
